Words will never describe the feeling that Jerry and I had at this moment!
A Fantastic Family Of Four
My Family is the most important part of my life.My prayer is that God leads our every thought, every dream, and most of all, He leads our Family through this great gift He has given: LIFE.. May we be the kind of Family that loves as He has loved us, teach our children the love of Our Father, Jesus Christ. This Fantastic Family of Four will always love and protect each other, and give our best to one another, and forever love and forgive, thats what makes us Fantastic!

THANKSGIVING WITH ELLERMANS IN MEMORY OF PAPAW ELLERMAN
2010 Thanksgiving Papaw Ellerman would have been 100 years old. Jerry so loved his grandparents, I never knew his grandmother but I soo loved Papaw!!! I so cherish all the good times with him, He got to meet and hold Caiden and Bailee when they were babies, and I remember the Brothers In Christ singings in honor of him from previous years. So in honor of his memory, all all Papaws children and grandchildren and great grandchildren gathered at the graveside and had a balloon release ceremony. How wonderful it was so hear them talk about their most fondest memories of him. It was truly a most memorable time in 2010

SNOW IN THE NEW YEAR
Well, we had our first ice and snow day of the New Year. Louisiana weather is so unpredictable! The week forecast called for temps ranging from 70's to the low 30's. One day it has hot and humid, then the next day cold and sleet!! The kids did manage to have one day home from school because of sleet and freezing rain, but snow did not show up Monday night and had to return to school Tuesday. We took full advantage of the snow that night and just enjoyed seeing it!
Bailee was like, snow?! REALLY!??
Feeling the snow on our tongues!
Bailee and I playing in the snow
our footprints in the snow
Caiden made a snowball but his hands were freezing!!
Look at those ice sickles!!

LETTING GO
I remember a movie I once saw, one line that stands out to me is this.." If you want something very badly, set it free, If it comes back to you, its yours forever, If it doesn't, it was never yours to begin with." WOW, how difficult to conceive, how simple the concept. No matter how badly we want something , or someone, without regard to their own personal choice is not up to us, but up to how they perceive our intentions, our heart, or motives is up to how they deal with personal pain, maybe to block that pain, or to never deal with that encounter again, leaving their heart hard, a defense mechanism, but its just to keep them for being hurt and dealing with rejection. Love for some, comes and goes, based on how ones treats them, some gain strength from knowing they have the upper hand, while some rest in the hope of being needed and strive on having someone dependent on them, either way, it makes us believe and rest in someone needing us, therefore all our intention was simply just wanting to be loved. I have had 4 years of trying to get a hold on this, my past has made me realize how precious family is, how forgiveness plays a key and major role in truly loving someone versus holding grudge's and blaming someone for past experiences. Only than can we can truly be set free when we forgive and learn that letting go of guilt, anger, hard grudges and of wrong doing. This can truly make us see that there are always those that forgive, those that don't, those they learn to deal with crisis, and those that simply overlook, and those that choose to believe that God intended for some to be together and allows other wise, so by simply trusting in Him to be the one in control of everything, leaves us to letting go and embracing what God had intended for us all along

BAILEE'S EASTER HOUSE
Sometimes things never work out the way we plan. We can try VERY hard to perfect something. It can be a sport, any talent, a job, or even the way we live our lifes, but when we see that somethings we do turn out to be less than perfect, it kinda just makes us see the laughter and humor in our bloopers!! Bailee and I worked for 2 hours on this 3-D Easter house. It fell apart many times, but we kept on piecing it back together. So there was a lesson in this. When we feel like all around us is falling down, that pieces of our being are not what we want them to be, we must keep on trying and eventually it will all come together in the end. For a house is not a home without a little hard work, sometimes things break and fall all around us, but taking time to fix them or us is so worth it!
