SPRING

CIRCUS 2009

The kids and I had a very busy and fun weekend last week and we got to the Circus.

Caiden, Bailee, Ashley, and I had a lot of fun!

The Circus was in our area from Friday till Sunday.

We went Friday night and it was packed!

Two out of the three shows on Saturday were SOLD OUT , so I am glad we got to go!

I love having the privilege of not only being a SAHM, but also being able to take the kids' friends along on certain trips.

The kids and I really enjoyed being there, and they got lots of goodies and treats that make this experience more enjoyable!

FOOTBALL LEGENDS

Our family loves some football and we love The New Orleans Saints!

A local sports memorabilia store had a Former Saints player visiting the area and was signing autographs.

Tom Dempsey is most widely known for his NFL record 63-yard field goal kicked in the final 2 seconds to give the Saints a 19-17 win over the Detroit Lions on November 8, 1970. He is the record holder of the longest field goal in NFL history.

What an awesome experience it was to meet him and visit with him!

IT'S A GIRL THING!

Bailee is getting to the age were she is wanting to have girlfriends. I am so excited for her and so glad that she is wanting to develop these types of relationships with girls her age.


And being her mother ,I want her to develop on these friendships,and I want her to have healthy and positive experiences.


She has found this with Ashley, and I am so glad.

Bailee and Ashley spent Friday night together and had a great time!

I am so thankful that she has her as a friend and I know Bailee looks forward to a growing friendship with her!

CAIDEN AND BAILEE'S 4TH SIX WEEKS AWARD ASSEMBLY

Caiden and Bailee had their Awards Assembly this week.
Even with them being so sick over a two week period, they still managed to make good grades and made honor roll. They missed a lot of school during that time.

Jerry and I helped catch them up on school work as much as we could. This involved getting work assignments from the school and trying to help them catch up.

We all know that when you are sick, the last thing you want to go is work, and it was hard sometimes for them to do some these assignments.

I am so proud of them for trying their best and thats all I could ever ask of them!

MEN AT WORK

I truly believe that every father wants to teach their son about many things, especially when it comes down to being "the handy man." At this particular time , Jerry was trying to help and teach Caiden about how to operate a power tool.
This was Caiden's 1st time to use a cordless drill. He was quite well with it, And Jerry was more than happy to teach him!
There will be always a "special" bond with a father and son. I love the fact that Jerry is always willing to spend time with Caiden and to show him the many ways of becoming a responsible young man! Hopefully, this will help him to learn about what most men do in their daily lives! That is, fixing stuff that mommy can't fix!!Thanks Jerry for being a great dad and leader in our home! Caiden enjoyed doing this with you! Even more, he enjoyed the father and son time!
