SWIM,SWIM, AND MORE SWIM

Summer time is such a wonderful time to relax and enjoy life. It is also a time to doctor sunburns and the occasional "blistered" feet that you get from the hot smothering concrete that you travel back and fourth on. You get this mostly from attempting the usual "cannonball" Caiden and Bailee swam a lot on vacation and enjoyed the dog out of it. And what was really great was they made a lot of new friends that were traveling on vacation just like them. I;m so glad that my children are very outgoing and have NEVER had a problem introducing themselves to just about anyone they meet. They made friends that were from Texas, Missouri, New York, and Iowa. My children are so lucky to have the opportunity to be able to travel across states. They have been to more states than most kids their age. There is always so much to experience when you travel. It introduces them to new lifestyles, new cultures, and new people. I know that there experience's we help them see that there are all kinds of people around with different cultures, but in retrospect, they are pretty much the same as them!

Bailee's "handstand"

These boys helped me bring breakfast to our room every morning! I would tip them a dollar a day. The smallest boy could tell me that he wanted to do it for free. But I never let an act of kindness go unnoticed, so I kept on tipping!

These kids were from New York

ROSEBLATT STADIUM: HOME OF THE COLLEGE WORLD SERIES

This is the home of the college world series. Its sad to all of us that it will be torn down, and built again. But we are so glad we got to experience it in all its glory! The Omaha Royals played awesome that night and we had a blast! We had popcorn, funnel cakes, and you have to eat a good old fashion hot dog at a baseball game! The theme for that night was Star Wars. They were promoting the new movie to start in theaters Aug.20. They had soo many characters from the movie there. Caiden thought he was too old to have his picture made, being that he doesn't play with Star Wars figurines anymore! But he did say that he wanted to see the movie! What was really cool was that we got to "see" some of the movie clippings why we were there. After the game, they had an AWESOME fireworks display that lasted 30 minutes. Even better, the background music was the STAR WARS theme. We had a blast. Our family is such a HUGE fan of baseball.
