A WEEKEND WITH FRIENDS

Caiden and Bailee had a weekend filled with fun and friends!
I can't really tell you how many kids were over and playing this weekend. All I know is that they had a lot of fun!
Bailee's Friend Ashley, stayed with us the whole weekend. Her mother and brother went out of town and she wanted to spend the weekend with us. She even went to church with us Sunday morning.
Caiden had Bo spend the night Saturday night. Bailee and Ashley, and Mary Grace played Friday evening and Saturday. They walked back and forth to each others houses with baby dolls, and baby clothes. I had to pick them up several times during the day due to the fact that they either forgot some play thing or was ready for a new playing environment. Caiden and his friends played football Saturday.
They had a lot of fun playing at each other's houses. Jerry was out of town till Saturday evening and so I wanted them to have lots of friends over to play. They work so hard during the week with school and they deserve to have fun! I had Supper waiting on Jerry when he got home.
We were all so glad to see him! After supper, Jerry played Clue with the kids.
I know I talk A LOT about what a great dad Jerry is, BUT how many fathers would play a hour game of Clue after 2 days of all day meetings and a 5 1/2 hour drive from Dallas!
He is soo sweet and is soo attentive to our children.
Thanks Jerry for being such a great dad! After Clue, we all watched a great movie and ate popcorn.

Sunday after church, we all went to eat at Caiden's favorite place,PEKING. Sunday was the Chinese New Year's Celebration. They had a great buffet set out! Since Bailee and Ashley were 9 and under(sorry Caiden, that's the downfall of getting older!!) He is no longer is considered a child when it comes to dining out.But he is bigger than me and as tall as I am at the age of 11!They got a card and a 1.00 bill. Bailee and Ashley were wanting play in the tent, so Jerry set it up for them. Caiden went to Bo's for more shooting with BB guns.It was really cold by this time, but they enjoyed being outdoors and came in every so often to warm up! We had a great time with friends and I am now looking to some rest! WHEW, the things we do for our kids!

CAIDEN'S NEW YEAR OF PIANO AND A NEW TEACHER

Caiden started his new piano lessons of the New Year Tuesday, and with a new teacher. Mrs. LaFaye Price is a great Christian woman I have known for many years. She is a member of a local church in our area, and a church that I was once a member. She is the piano teacher at this church and has been for many years. She is a very gifted musician. Caiden laid off from piano for a couple of weeks. The teacher he had was a excellence one,but there was many conflicts. One having to travel so far, and some other factors. I appreciated her teaching Caiden the 1st lesson he ever had, and for making it so fun for him! Jerry and I feel like this type of new environment is best for him. His lessons are at the church, and he will also be learning Christan music, and we think this will be a great learning experience for him! He did great Tuesday and he looks forward to many more lessons!

A GREAT DAY FOR PLAYING WITH FRIENDS

What a beautiful day Thursday was!!

The sun was shining bright and it was much warmer than it is been in a while.

After I picked up the kids from school, we started our normal homework routine. Caiden only had 2 subjects to do, and Bailee had NONE, she did hers at school, so we planned a day of playing with friends.

Jerry left for Dallas early that morning for a meeting. We will be back sometime Saturday.

Bailee's friend Mary Grace came over first. She is such a sweet little girl. Her and Bailee played in her room and played her Hannah Montana singing thing.

Caiden had called Bo and so I left to take Caiden over there. They were planning to shoot their guns again. Bo has a wonderful little wooded area beside his house great for this type of play!

On the way back from dropping him off, We saw that Bailee's other friend, Ashley was at her grandmothers(She lives a a few houses down from Bo) so we picked her up and brought her to the house to play.

Since the weather was so great, the girls stayed outside most of the time.

They played a lots of basketball. Luckily, we have 3 basketballs , so each girl had their own ball.

They has so much fun and all the girls are quite good!

To make it more fun and more competitive, they lowered and lifted the height of the goal.

Bailee loves to play basketball , but is not sure about playing a season. I think she doesn't want to feel like she has to play. When ever the mood strikes her, she enjoys playing!

I even played with them! I was mainly outside sweeping out the driveway, and tidying up some outside. I am ready for Spring, to be in the yard planting flowers!!

The girls also jumped on the trampoline and showed each other their tricks and flips.

Mary Grace came over on her little scooter and the girls enjoyed riding it too. NOW Bailee wants one for her Birthday!

I am so glad that the kids got to enjoy a day with their friends. When it is nice outside like today, it makes the company of friends so much more enjoyable!

A NEW PRESIDENT, A NEW BEGINNING, A NEW HISTORY

What a day this was in American History. This day of the inauguration of the 44th President of the United States Of America will be a day of great history.

Jerry and I watched this day of history all day long.

We so wanted to share this experience with our children by letting them stay home, but we were told that they would get to watch this history in the making, and they did.

I believe that this is a huge step to each party putting aside differences and to make our nation the best it can be. This is a time for healing and forgiving and for us as a nation to put aside our opinions and negativity and to make us a strong nation again. We should be One Nation, Under God, Indivisable And The Liberty And Justice For All.

I could go into all sorts of concerns and hopes for our country, but The Lord knows my concerns and prayers for our country.

The main thing is that our new president will look to God for all choices he makes for our country.

This great nation was built on God and it should remain that way.

In God We Trust, was what our United States started with, and it should ALWAYS remain that way.

These pictures represent various things. Past Presidents, who put aside ALL differences for the sake of our nation, and the healing of forgiveness.

I will always be a BIG Bush supporter. He is such a man of God, and such an humble Christian.
Even though some see him "otherwise", I think in the years to come, he will be one of the most appreciated and respected Presidents Of The Untied States.

These pictures show a New history being made and a new beginning for us.

May God Bless America and May He Be the one we look to in leading our nation!

May God continue to Bless The United States!!
