HOME CAN BE ANYWHERE YOU GO

Our family life is a lot different from other families. We are apart sometimes, but when we are together, we definitely make up for lost time.. Our children have traveled a lot, and have been to more states than a lot of children their age. We look at this as possibilities and new experiences for them. They love traveling and they usually get a souvenir for each state that we visit. Even though we were in hotel, we made it as "homey" as possible. We cooked and did what "normal" families do on a daily basis. We played games, watched TV, and talked about our day just like normal families do. It's all about improvising and using what you do have, and making the best of it! So, in all actually, Home can be anywhere, and everywhere, you just have to use your imagination, and rely on each other to make it the best it can be! We are A Fantastic Family Of Four anywhere we go! This is our family life for now, and i must say, we are doing just fine! Home is where your heart is, and our hearts are always with each other. These are the times that I truly cherish, and I am soo glad that we get to do all that we do as a family. These times will shape our family and these experiences make our family life so unique. What other families get to travel all over the place, everytime we travel with Jerry's job, its one of many mini-vacations that we will explore and cherish forever. Home is love, and our doors are always open for many more "homey" places!

ARRIVING AT OUR DESTINATION

We finally arrived in Omaha, Nebraska about 5 pm, and we were so glad to have finally made it. We had to unload so much luggage, get situated and of course, make sure Bubba felt at home. What was so bad that Jerry had to be at work the next day at 7am. His estimated travel miles over the last week totaled about 6000 miles!

Bailee is just like me, organized, she made sure she had access to our clothes!

TRAVELS AND NATURE

There is something to be said about traveling with nature at you fingertips. I love the fact that I was not driving, for I wanted to take in all I could of the world outside. I love being able to experience all the outdoors of each state we passed through. It was such a relaxing time for me. God knows how much I appreciate what He has given us, in regards to nature. The scenery was so breathtaking, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Nature is truly a blessing that should be appreciated and loved, and respected.

BUBBA'S 1ST VACATION

Our little Bubba Max went of his first vacation with us.He was so cute the way he would go back and fourth between the four of us! He was very good and we rewarded him from to time with little treats. Yes, we fed him ice cream! Being the hyper puppy he already is, the ice cream only added to it! We really enjoyed him being with us on our vacation!

As you can see, Bubba loves to be with us, and we try to take him with us as much as we can. Maybe I should change my blog to 5!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN....

IT SEEMS LIKE THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS THAT WE HAVE "LIVED" ON THE ROAD! AS SOON AS WE GOT BACK SUNDAY FROM PLAYING BASEBALL IN VICKSBURG, WE PACKED UP AGAIN THAT SUNDAY NIGHT HEADING FOR NEBRASKA. WE DROVE TO LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS AT STOPPED AT A HOTEL AT 12 AM. WE SLEPT IN OUR CLOTHES AND BROUGHT ONLY TOOTHBRUSHES AND CONTACT STUFF. WE UNPACKED NOTHING ELSE. WHEN YOU HAVE A CAR PACKED SLAM FULL WITH STUFF, AND OH, A LITTLE WHITE DOG, YOU JUST LEAVE THINGS AS THEY ARE, AND WAKE UP TO ANOTHER DAY OF TRAVELING! 12 HOURS TO BE EXACT!!!

The room was very nice! It had a full kitchen and separate bedroom. Didn't help much that it was 12 am, and i was not remotely interested in cooking anything! I just wanted to use the bed!

HAPPY 34TH BIRTHDAY DANIELLE !

I had a WONDERFUL birthday! I really did not want anything, I just wanted to be surrounded by my Fantastic Four. BUT, I did get a laptop, it just has not arrived yet! With each passing birthday, I feel so blessed to live to see my precious children grow, and I am soo thankful that God allowed me to be a mother!! This is what I have always wanted to be!! Caiden and Bailee tell me how lucky they are to have me as their mother, well, as long as they know they are always wanted and loved, then i have done my job as a mother!!

EVEN AT 34, I STILL HAVE A GOOD BIT OF WIND IN ME, BUT JERRY WAS RIGHT THERE MAKING SURE I DID NOT NEED ANY HELP!

INSTEAD OF EATING OUT, I DECIDED I WANTED GOOD OLD BARBECUE! SINCE WE HAD JUST GOTTEN HOME 2 HOURS AGO, I DIDN'T "FEEL" THE NEED TO GET ALL DRESSED UP FOR 1 HOUR ON THE TOWN. I WOULD HAVE MUCH RATHER SPEND MY NIGHT WITH MY FANTASTIC FOUR EATING AT THE DINNER TABLE AND WATCHING BASEBALL! THESE ARE THE TIMES THAT I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TOO!
